Terms of Use — Good Visit
These terms apply to everyone who uses Good Visit, wherever they live. By using the app, you agree to them.
1. What the app is
Good Visit shows the words you type as large as your screen allows, so you can talk with someone who has trouble hearing. You can highlight, bold and draw on words, and save phrases you use often.
2. Not a medical device
Good Visit is a communication aid, nothing more.
- It is not a hearing aid and does not treat, diagnose or monitor any condition.
- It is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
- It does not replace professional care, a hearing specialist, or a doctor’s advice.
3. Free trial and purchase
Good Visit includes a free trial. After the trial, a one-time purchase through your app store unlocks the app. There is no subscription.
The price is shown in the store before you buy. Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by the store under its own terms. Nothing in these terms takes away any refund right that the law where you live gives you.
If you reinstall the app or move to a new phone with the same store account, you can restore your purchase at no cost.
4. Using the app
You can use Good Visit for any personal or professional purpose, including caregiving and healthcare settings. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app, or try to get around the purchase.
What you type is yours. You are responsible for what you show to others.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Good Visit reliable, but we can’t promise it will be free of errors or work on every device. We may update the app to fix problems or improve it.
6. Liability
Good Visit is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Retomar Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection laws where you live give you and that cannot be waived by contract. This includes, for example, rights under the laws of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia and Brazil.
7. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we’ll publish the new version on this page with an updated effective date. Changes don’t take away anything you have already paid for.
8. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. If you use Good Visit as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
