Privacy Policy — Good Visit
Summary
Good Visit does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything you type stays on your phone. The app does not connect to the internet.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Good Visit, wherever they live.
1. Who is responsible for the app
Good Visit is developed by Retomar Labs, based in Michigan, USA. For any privacy matter, write to support+goodvisit@retomarlabs.com.
2. What you type
- The message on screen stays only in the app’s memory. It is gone when you tap Clear or close the app. It is never saved and never sent anywhere.
- Saved phrases and settings (colors, letters, text size, pen and highlight colors) are saved on your phone so they are there next time. They never leave your phone. Retomar Labs cannot see them.
- Phrases can be personal. People often save things like appointment times or health details. Because they stay on your phone, nobody else can read them through the app. The app also opts out of Android’s cloud backup, so phrases are not copied to any backup service.
- Uninstalling the app deletes everything it saved.
3. What the app doesn’t do
- No sign-up, login or email.
- No device permissions: not internet access, the microphone, camera, location or contacts.
- No ads.
- No analytics, tracking tools or cookies.
- No sharing or selling of data, because there is no data to share.
4. Purchases
Good Visit has a free trial, then a one-time purchase to keep using it. The trial is counted on your phone. The purchase is handled by your app store (for example, Google Play) under its own terms and privacy policy. The store tells the app only whether it has been unlocked. Retomar Labs does not receive your name, payment details or card information.
5. Data handled by app stores
When you download the app, the store may handle data as part of the download and your store account, under its own privacy policy. Retomar Labs can see, in the store’s dashboard, only aggregated and anonymous statistics, such as the number of installs, sales totals and app crash reports, which don’t identify you.
6. If you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to help you and to keep a record of support requests. We never sell it, share it or use it for marketing. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
7. Your rights, wherever you live
Privacy laws around the world give you rights over your personal data, including the European Union’s and United Kingdom’s GDPR, California’s CCPA and other US state laws, Brazil’s LGPD, Canada’s PIPEDA and Australia’s Privacy Act. These include the right to know what data is held about you, to get a copy, to correct it and to have it deleted.
The app itself holds no data of yours that we can access. If you have emailed us, you can ask to see or delete those emails at any time. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
We do not sell or share personal data, as those terms are used in California law.
8. Children
Good Visit is not directed at children, and it doesn’t collect data from anyone, of any age.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll publish the new version on this page with an updated effective date. If the app ever starts handling personal data in a new way, this policy will be updated before that change reaches the app.
